Refrigeration is the process of moving heat from one location to another by use of refrigerant in a closed cycle. It is very important for comfort cooling (air conditioning), commercial and industrial refrigeration applications. This technical workshop will introduce the basic principles of refrigeration and explain the key components and types of refrigeration systems. Participants will develop an understanding of the processes of refrigeration and how refrigeration systems operate, as well as the types of refrigeration systems.
