Details:

Internet of Things (IoT) is the essential element to thrive a smart community. ZigBee is a wireless and open global IoT standard dedicated to smart city development. Added benefits include low-cost, low-power wireless machine-to-machine (M2M) networks. It is forecasted that the global ZigBee-enabled devices market will grow at a CAGR of 29.73%% during the period 2016-2020. This seminar will discuss the market growth, potential, development, deployment, sustainability, and applications of ZigBee (e.g. lightings, smart buildings, smart metering,…). Finally the challenges likely to be encountered and the way forward will be discussed.
