The new Hospital Authority Supporting Services Centre (HASSC) is the phase 2 development of the North Lantau Hospital (NLTH) project, and will comprise several hospital supporting service facilities, including central laundry centre, central food production unit (CPU) for providing patient food service, an information technology corporate data center, central emergency stores for critical personal protective equipment (PPE) and key linen items, to support the public hospitals and the future planned expansion of its clinical services to meet the heavy demand for public healthcare services.

The visit will bring to the visitors the special Building Services System for this proposed new Supporting Services Centre, which is designed to increase the system resilience and providing extra redundancy for fulfilling the critical user’s requirements. The design has incorporated the smart and innovative technologies to strive for carbon neutrality and building sustainability.
