Ocean Park Hong Kong, one of the world’s most beautiful and popular theme parks, is a theme park featuring animals, thrill rides and shows. In the world-class marine-themed area, visitors can view thousands of marine lives from world’s largest Aquarium dome. Being the world’s best marine-based theme park, Ocean Park keep providing suitable living environment for different species by a high standard water quality control system like filtration and disinfection system and other marine life support system like water recirculation system.

At the same time, Ocean Park takes a role of socially responsible organization, which is the first tourist attraction in Hong Kong to adopt Gas Absorption chiller in zoological facilities. Gas Absorption chiller can chill water without applying CFC refrigerant, resulting in zero damage to our ozone layer, lower carbon emissions, as well as lower operation, repair and maintenance costs. This environmental friendly system adopted in “Shark Mystique” and “Adventures in Australia” has resulted in 30% carbon emission reduction.

We, CIBSE YEN, are pleased to present a technical visit to the Ocean Park Hong Kong. The purpose of the visit is to learn more about marine life support system for Grand Aquarium and environmental condition control system for the marine-life theme park.

Participants will gain the opportunity to learn more about environmental condition control system and marine life support system for Aquarium.
