16 May: AM Session – Technical Visit to the Hong Kong Peak Tram Company Ltd
09:00 – 12:00: Behind the scenes tour of machine room and control room of the world’s steepest funicular railway. The visit is open to Symposium delegates only and the entrance fee is included in the Symposium registration fee.

16 May: PM Session – CIBSE Guide D Transportation Systems in Buildings Workshop
14:30 – 17:30: City University of Hong Kong, SCOPE Admiralty Learning Centre. The workshop is being run as a follow on from the 8th Symposium and is free to attend. CIBSE Guide D is an internationally recognised and respected reference on vertical transportation and is an invaluable source of information for those involved in the design, installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance of transportation systems in buildings.
